How can I test if Text In Voting is working?

You can test Text-In Voting by sending a test vote to the phone number provided by RocketJudge and checking whether the vote appears in your event results.

How to test Text-In Voting

  1. Open your event in RocketJudge.

  2. Navigate to the Text-In Voting tab.

  3. Locate the phone number assigned to your event.

  4. Identify the Competitor ID you want to use for testing.

  5. From a mobile phone, send the Competitor ID by text message to the assigned phone number.

  6. Check your event's Results tab to see whether the test vote appears.

What if my test vote does not appear?

  • Check the phone number: Make sure you are texting the number provided by RocketJudge.

  • Check the Competitor ID: Make sure the ID matches the intended Competitor in your event.

  • Check your event setup: Confirm that Text-In Voting is available and configured for your event.

  • Check any location restrictions: If you are using Location-Specific Text-In Voting, make sure your test is performed within the designated voting area.
