To add a new Criterion, first navigate to the Criteria panel. Then, click "Add a Criterion" in the green box at the top. A drop down will appear:

Name: Give your criterion a Name- like "Quality" or "Creativity".

Tag(s): If a criterion only applies to a subset of your competitors, you can assign your criterion a tag in the tags box. IMPORTANT: Leave this blank if it applies to all competitors.

Type: Criteria can be numerical or text. This article is about numerical- learn about text here.

Required: Numerical criteria can be optional or required. Use the toggle to set the option you choose.

Share with competitors: Numerical criteria can be shared in the competitor feedback report or not included in the feedback report. Use the toggle to set the option you choose.

Description: you can include a description to give your judges more information about a criterion. We recommend keeping this short- under one sentence.

Min and Max: This is your criterion's range.

Multiplier: Use the multiplier to give a weight to a criterion. This can be positive, negative, zero, a whole number, or a fraction. NOTE: To edit whether the multiplier is visible to a judge (or private to you, the organizer), adjust the toggle on the Dashboard tab labeled Display "Multiplied Results on Ballots".

NOTE: You can only edit criteria at certain times. Learn more here.
