Most of our clients have Judge check tables so they can easily check in Judges into RocketJudge as well as give the Judges other conference/event materials. 

It's not required, but without doing self-check in, it's hard to know who is present and should be checked in without some central check in table.  

We have also had some clients who train volunteers to do judge check in using tablets before the competition by wandering around at a pre-competition mixer type event.
