The short answer is not really.

The only thing that really matters is that if you have Tags, you add those first. If you add Competitors and Judges that have Tags attached to them, but you haven't entered the Tags in the system yet, the Tags on the Competitors and Judges will not save, and you'll have to redo it, and that will be a bummer.
